Client First Insurance Services develops a customized strategy and plan with each of our clients that supports the company's philosophy and goals for employee recruitment, retention, and job performance in balance with its financial parameters. Using the strategic plan as a platform, a Client First Principal will:

  • Conduct an Annual Review to evaluate program performance against goals and benchmarks and assist the client in establishing goals for the new plan year

  • Recommend alternative plan designs and options as appropriate

  • Market to alternative carriers to compare costs to identify the most cost-effective option

  • Assist in preparation of employee communications and presentations for open enrollment meetings

  • Assist in preparation of materials for Senior Management and governing boards that support decisions regarding benefit policy and cost considerations.

  • Provide on-going support and interface with carriers to resolve administrative issues that inevitably arise

  • Assure that the client has all relevant legislative and regulatory updates that impact his/her benefit actions and policies

  • Assure that all ERISA 5500 filings are compiled and completed in compliance with applicable regulations

  • Recommend alternative benefit offerings, plans and/or carriers as client needs change (staff growth/reduction; mergers/acquisitions)

  • Present new program and product opportunities throughout the plan year.

  • Consistently anticipate the "unforeseen" that could materially affect the client and proactively work with carriers to avoid potential problems.
